On Thursday, June 19th a group of eager, young budding photographers visited the SPCA to try out their skill. As a result of collaboration between B.TEC and the Francis Patton primary school each student was given a digital camera for the afternoon and invited to photograph our animals in action...or inaction as the case may be! Several of the photos have become our official adoption photo of the animal on our website.
The children were divided into groups and while some took photos another group was listening to a presentation given by our staff members - Jodi and Inspector Smith. The students learned about caring for animals and were given some common examples of the types of cruelty found in Bermuda.
We have also posted several of the photos in our Event Gallery on the website and all the photos will be on display at our Animal Expo & Fair on Saturday, October 4th at the Botanical Gardens.
